The Foshays are sadden to hear the news that Ed Ackerson, Owner and Director of Flowers Studios in Uptown Minneapolis, died this weekend. He mastered our first EP and first LP Not So Now! Being a bunch of dumb studio rats, we needed his help badly. We told him to make us sound like Giuda, and The Music Machine, and he did! We we’re going to hire him for all our future tracks, and even though our expectations have been dashed, we’re so grateful he was able to make an indelible mark on our sound. Thank you for the flowers Ed, and happy travels.
